I'd like to think the air defense around a nuke power plant would be pretty stout.
The whole thing is pointless, which is what I said 7 pages ago and is becoming increasingly obvious. We’re not going to verifiably eliminate their nuclear capabilities or change their leadership without putting troops in and nobody wants to do that.
If we do put troops in we’ll probably spend 10 years and 10 trillion to zero effect just like we did in Iraq and Afghanistan. Meanwhile our real hostile competitors are in the Pacific, and they’re not pissing away money or resources on this nonsense.
Best case is to lob a bunch of missiles at them and then announce mission accomplished and walk away. That will have zero effect also, but at least we’ll spend $50 billion instead of trillions.

How would you suggest Trump and Israel deal with the threat of nuclear Iran...I'm still waiting on your plan. Or are you ok with Tel Aviv being turned to glass or a mushroom cloud over NYC?
Don't think the accuracy is that great but I think it would take luck to shoot a hypersonic down to avoid the strike. Just curious if we are talking a Chernobyl type situation depending on what got hit at the plant. Even Iran may not want to cross that line though.
We can tell if that nuke facility is effectively taken out. Hopefully Israel can do it without our bombers. If not we need to take it out.

I’d suggest we start focusing our attention, money and resources on China, which is an actual threat, military and otherwise, and quit chasing the same neocon bogeyman that we’ve spent the last 30 years and lord knows how many trillions chasing for absolutely no effect.

Really? I’m pretty sure one of our bunker busters can absolutely bury those UG facilities. As far as verification, mossad was able to build an entire base in Tehran right under their noses. I think we may be able to figure out if we cleaned this all up without a massive land invasion. I think any regime change should come organically from the people of Iran

Trump defending Israel is completely consistent with everything he has done and said about Israel AND the Middle East.
If you want World War 3 and nuclear war, then you want the United States to hang Israel out to dry here. Because doing so GREATLY increases the chances of nuclear war happening.
