Why has Caitlin Clark stirred up so much hate and animosity recently?
My Speculation of the Day:
The pre-CC WNBA was the WOKE DEI WELFARE League prior to CC.
The arenas were mostly empty, or half full with quiet bored fans that didn't have anything else to do in the football off season.
The players wanted, and then more recently demanded to be paid more in their welfare checks that were being written by the owners and the NBA, without having to do anything for it but show up and play boring-azz B-Ball.
Griner said she/HE wanted it to return to that quiet time on the court, but they all still want more unearned money for it. Their problem is that you can't strike or hold out when you're on welfare and losing money for the past 20+ years....
Clark comes in, brings tens of thousands of new fans and triples the TV viewership league wide, and that's caused problem for them.
They still want everything that CC brought in, charter flights etc, especially the money, but they don't want CC or 'Her Kind of Fan' to stay.
I thought that the WNBA would, or could, change things up and improve their overall product. (maybe a PLAN)
But now I'm on the verge of believing that won't or can't have any real changes take place.
CC and 'her kind' of players and fans should leave the W for greener (and sane) pastures.
Start their own/new league. Go to EU B-Ball, or as a last resort go to 3 on 3 Rivals.

I don't watch the games and get tired of seeing the 24/7 media pushing of the WNBA just like with women's soccer around women's world cup time but looking at the clips of what they are doing to her she won't last long or get back on track unless the league gets very heavy handed and starts doing very long suspensions. It's reached a point where it seems to be expected and lauded the players do that to her. Even though white players are doing it to her now also I do think there is a racial component to it and the WNBA would have already went big time suspensions if this was a black player this was happening to.
It’s honestly in the league’s best interest to keep the sh!tshow a sh!tshow.
No one can turn away from a car wreck, it’s certainly more exciting than women’s basketball.
This kerfuffle is a lot more interesting than the WNBA games themselves. 😂
I disagree (nbd), with the not good to watch women's game in general.
The Fever's game vs Brazil was fun to watch for me, as was their recent game against the NY Liberty.
When they play 'good/tough/clean' ball, it's fun to watch imo.
You can't compare any woman's sport to men's for athleticism due to the physical differences.
That doesn't mean that women's sports are useless or not worth watching, for example:

Little League
Pony League
High School
College

I don't watch nuttin' but MLB because none of those others have the skill or athleticism of MLB...

Just another (different) opinion. I now believe that the CC hate has more to do with her being 'straight and gifted' more than her being a 'trash white girl.' The white part is just the hate cherry on top....

Everyone that's seen the Flagrant Fouls by Sheldon and Mabbrey knows what Cunningham did later, but things were seemingly missed.
First, Lexie Hull stepped in from of Sheldon as she went after CC after she'd just slapper her in the face/eye and then followed that up with a body bump, so some missed props for Hull.
Second, when Sheldon drove down the court, she lowered her shoulder and slammed into Sophie. Sophie had to grab on to her or be knocked to the floor. That should have been an offensive foul on Sheldon, not a Flagrant-2 of Sophie. Then Sheldon and a teammate went after Sophie who was only defending herself at that point.
That's just a small example on how BAD the WOKE WNBA and their incompetent/biased officials are. JMOHO, the WOKE WNBA is on a fast track to implosion.... I have ZERO respect for them now!

What does Caitlin Clark need in the coming off season?
More strength training and muscle building.
Weekly training with a top sensei/master in Jujitsu and Wing Chung.
Jujitsu for balance, counter balance, and leverage training
Wing Chung for hand fighting and anticipation self defense.
JMOHO, but only about 15-20 of the W's players are CC haters, but that's too many to just be ignored.
The majority are either neutral, or are actually decent human beings.
More strength training and muscle building.
