This is about as updated as I can get for now, but it seems like far better days ahead for UF athletics and he seems likeable among the University of Michigan faithful.

Well UF took the Alamo might as well get Santa Ono too.
Stricklin is the one who refused to fire Napier. Either way, I hear Ono takes football and other sports more seriously than Fuchs ever did and for him to leave Michigan for Florida says much more.
Yep I think Stricklin is safe this year. With our team this year I think Napier should be fired if we somehow went 8-4 but it would probably take 7-5 for them to actually do it.

Michigan hired Sherrone Moore when Harbaugh left. Do you think he is a "lethal simplicity" level coach? Why would you assume he is going to make a DEI hire for UF football when he didn't for Michigan football? This is what I mean about track record vs rando tweets.
He is absolutely exactly that level hire, and it will keep proving itself with each game that passes for Michigan.
I used to be friends with the head of the UF Architecture dept (RIP). He was dean. He and his son loved to fish too. Gary was down to earth and a genius. When he left UF, he did private home plans because he got bored if he wasn't busy. If you wanted him to do your house plans, you didn't interview him, he interviewed you before he took the job. Gary used to bitch about how woke his surroundings were. That was 25 years ago. That's how messed up the UofF has become. I think that's why he retired earlier than he needed to.
