Inside Access: Inside the Recruiting World (5/8)
We have two players on our RedZone list, G'nivre Carr and Malik Morris. There is another player or two out there that warrant being on this list, and I will add one of them today. Out-of-state defensive lineman JaReylan McCoy will first appear on the RedZone list.

Florida can and has done everything right with McCoy to this point in the recruiting cycle, which is one reason he will join Carr/Morris on our list. However, with how things work today (NIL), you can be squarely in the driver's seat and still miss out on a recruit at the very last second.
Ole Miss would love nothing more than to keep a player from Tupelo from leaving the state and signing with the Rebels. The work is not done for the Gators, and they need to ramp it up even more heading into the first official visit weekend when McCoy is scheduled to visit.
I have mixed emotions about a player visiting a particular school first, followed by my multiple official visits afterward. The emotional value you gain from such an experience will disappear in the wind over time.
On the other hand, if a player is excited about that visit and makes his announcement while they are in town, you have a better chance of holding onto him as others ramp up their respective recruiting pitches.
I can't put a timeframe on this, but this will not l happen soon in my mind. A dream scenario for the Gators is to have him announce on his visit.
