Mine was a special one. The Gators defeated the Volunteers, 99-81, to secure their first ever SEC Championship during the 1988-1989 season. The temperature plummeted that day, so my Dad took us to the Bookstore to buy sweatpants.
My favorite all-time game was January 9, 2007. My brother bought us tickets for the game in early December 2006. Little did we know the Gators would win the National Championship and be honored at halftime of the basketball game against Arkansas. Brother and I started the chant to bring back Reggie Nelson for one more year, though it failed.
