2025-2026 Gator Basketball

All of that ocala, but they still lost to totally incompetent UGly/Mike.... 🤓

And no need to keep swingin' on Todds jock,,, I'm just 🤡'ing you a little bit for the fun of it.... 😁

🤣 If you haven't figured it out yet a conference road loss is literally nothing in the big picture of college basketball. Maybe Mike White can borrow from you and hang a banner he beat the national champs at home since he hasn't won a national championship, an SEC tournament or made a Final Four.

No feveredbrains, but he's been named a Conf. CoY in 3 different Conf's including the SEC, unlike the Golden boy....
Even winning a NC didn't do it, as most of us know it's the LUCKY combination of players a lot more than coaching abilities.

LMFAO at your continued swinging on Todd's jock though, demonstrating your total lack of ability at understanding that you're also being trolled a little by me....
😂

Yes and Coach Golden was not named a coach of the year despite doing what he did with muted pre-season expectations and even being the greatest coaching hire in UF's history like you informed us here.

The clueless are so much fun to watch, thrashing around in each other's drama queen BS...

😂 --- 🤣 --- 😂

Here lies the great SEC Coach Michael Emerson White who in his 3 years at Leghumper University amassed an astounding 20-34 SEC record with a 9th place SEC high regular season record. Career highlights include never making a Final Four and never winning an SEC regular season title or SEC conference tournament. Michael Emerson White has the distinction of winning one of the greatest basketball upsets in the history of college basketball on his home court against that year's national champion Florida Gators. 🤣 😉

Insta really gets off on getting people all fired up in roaring back at him. He then sits back, watches and pokes the bear a little more. I've been guilty myself a few times. Gotta be careful not to fall into his trap, but reading the responses and back and forth is pretty entertaining.

No he really is serious and tries to play it off that way when things don't turn out the way he thinks they should. It's why he wanted to believe the joke accusation planted against Golden with no evidence when he normally tells you not to believe the news without verification.

todd Golden could have whacked the Pope, and I don't give a damn.. Pay da man
When winning is all that matters, you're no longer an amateur or have any resemblance at all to a student/athlete...

Which is fine,,,, if you'll just stop pretending that you are....

Here's the article:

Great to hear. We should be a legit Final Four contender now. I am glad he chose to stay. Now he likely can work his way into being close to a 100% lock for being a 1st rounder.

no matter what, it's still gonna be hard to fill the hole of those 3 guards down in my signature...
Exactly right. We have a lot of talented guards for next year's team, but Clayton, Richard, Martin & Aberdeen, complemented each other, gelled together extremely well and we all tough as nails individually and as a unit. The new group will have to develop that same level of cohesion to have the same level of success. But I sure like the look of the roster!

While I still think that the newbees will be better than those departures were, and here are the receipts for that belief...

PG Johnuel 'Boogie' Fland 6-1 175 So - Ark xfer

PG Xaivian Lee 6-4 180 Grad-Sr - Princeton xfer - Canadian/American

CG AJ Brown 6-4 210 Jr - Ohio xfer

---
SG Isaiah Brown 6-4 195 So
PG Urban Klavzar 6-1 195 Jr - Slovenia xfer
SG/SF Kevin Pazmino 6-4 195 Jr - SFC xfer - WO
SG/SF Cooper Josefsberg 6-4 195 rsJr - WO
---

5 SF CJ Ingram 6-6 195 Fr **** - Hawthorn, FL

Ingram #11 is wearing the white head band.

#8 CG Alex Lloyd 6-3 165 Fr **** - Ft Lauderdale, FL

Wearing #4.

No problem with the talent levels imo, but they still have to prove that they can put ego's aside and play for each other as a TEAM. IF, if they can do that, then the departures will fade off into history.

I mean on paper the talent will be better, except for Clayton where it will be hard to find a stone cold killer that can just reverse the outcome of games in March with his will.. We have to see if these guys buy into the system like those other guards did.. They defended when it was winning time and were unselfish, things you can't just hope for with talent. That's why they were such a special group, having many of the guys back will be big for that reason with Tommy and the bigs.. It's good to know that nights we aren't making many shots we're still gonna get most of the misses to reset again and probably be up in the top tier if not top in rebounding in the country again.. Our rebounding consistently is what set us apart, that just deflates the hell out of your opponents.

Clayton's clutch shooting will be hard to replace that is for sure. I think we have the rest covered with the portal and what was on the roster. Things will have to go right obviously but I think this team will be a top SEC contender and has a chance to be a Final Four level team.

I haven't even thought about the rest of the SEC yet, I can't imagine so many teams can be as good again as well.. seems like that would be impossible 2 years in a row outside of football in our conference.. There was 4 teams good enough to make the Final Four at least in our own conference last year, hell Bama and UT made it as far as you can without being in it with us and Auburn. Kentucky will be over valued no matter what they do or don't have in a pre season ranking for basketball

Yep with NIL I expect the SEC and Big 10 to remain the deepest conferences. Curious how other teams will fare. I guess NC and Duke and a few others might compete there but I see a lot of teams that aren't in the big 2 conferences falling off some in these coming years.

Boogie looks as good or better than Clayton to me. We'll see on the rest, but the talent is there.
And with the ALL WORLD coach, there should be no excuses,,, right???

The talent is definitely there. But will Fland be the team player Clayton was? Will he step up when games are on the line like Clayton did? Will the other new talent do the same and be on par with Richard, Martin & Aberdeen? Time will tell. The only thing a coach can do is recruit the best talent he can and coach them up to the best of his ability. And that is something nobody at Florida has done as well as Todd Golden since Billy Donovan won 2 national titles. Golden won a national title in his third year as Gator coach with his guys in his way. That's impressive and commendable. The All World crap you put out there, I don't understand. But you be you and throw shade. And as for as excuses, Coach Golden nor any of his supporters need to make any excuses for his successes or what may happen next season. Our prior coach needed excuses every year and you provided plenty. Results speak for themselves.

Good point. I think Kansas is an example of this. They have struggled since NIL and next year it appears they will continue to struggle as an also ran.

There's a reason Olivier Rioux is a walk on.
Just like there's a reason you aren't being paid for what you post here.... 😉
=====

#61 C Olivier Rioux 7-9 305 Fr ***

Olivier Rioux is a 7-9 center that takes up immense space on the floor but isn't the most fleet of foot. In short minutes, Rioux can come into a game to clog the paint, shield opponents away from the rim and be a serviceable rebounder. He does have pretty good hands and touch on the offensive side of the ball but will need to continue developing his coordination especially in quick reaction circumstances.

He is young, left HS/IMG a year early, but still had a couple of small school ship offers.
In fact he had a ship offer from the same school that CG Alijah Martin transferred in to UF from, FAU.
He's a WO at UF because that's where he wanted to go to school, and UF didn't have an open ship to give him. Everyone knew that 1. He wasn't needed to play immediately and 2. He would need time to develop. This is not new as many incoming Fr need developmental time before playing in games, but no one has asked him to leave yet....

He will also not be needed in 25-26 due to those returning:

Thomas Haugh 6-9 215 Jr
Rueben Chinyelu 6-10 260 Jr
Viktor Mikic 6-11 250 So
Alex Condon 6-11 230 Jr
Micah Handlogten 7-1 255 Sr
-----
Olivier Rioux 7-9 305 rsFr

Looking at who will likely be leaving after next season, they really should work on at least getting him and fellow developmental player Mikic some playing time in the coming season.
