It only took a half inning, but I had to turn the TV volume off and get the commentary of Florida-Texas by closed caption. I can't stand to listen to Beth Mowins. Her voice alone is worse than fingernails on a chalkboard, but there is also the problem of her attempts to sound exciting. Some people can, some can't She can't. If I had state secrets that someone wanted to find out they wouldn't have to dislocate my shoulder or hit my toes with a hammer. All they would have to do is make me listen to an inning of Beth Mowins softball commentary.
